Help......I have friends coming to stay with me on Weds 7th May and although I have got most of their stay organised I am stuck with a good day out on Thurs 8th, I can't compete with their weather/location etc but where would be a good place to take them within about 50 miles of Oldham.

depends what they are into, matlock, blue john mines,museum at salford quays,blackpool to see the riverdance boat on the beach.the big one !

As pusspuss says it depends on what they're into but some possibilities are Southport, Liverpool (Cathedrals, Albert Dock, football museums if they are into that, the largest Chinese arch outside Asia), Skipton, Uppermill, Glossop, Chester.
