lol
Depends on how fast you are travelling by car and by foot as well as if it's uphill or flat . Could give a better answer if you stated the distance too.
But assuming an urban area with the usual traffic lights and congestion around 20 to 40 mins for an able bodied person.

Its all flat and i searched it on a route planner and it said that it took 10 minutes to travel by car a 5.83 mile long journey
It depends on whether or not there are any alleyways or short cuts but as the average walking speed is 3mph then I would say, on the flat, that 5.83 miles would take around 40 minutes, for a woman.

Men walk slightly faster

Thank you pink-kittens and pug100 you have really helped!!
I walk to work which is about 1.5 miles, it's not on the flat and takes me a leisurely 25 to 30 mins. I think it's going some to walk 5.83 miles in 40 mins even on the flat.
Walking at 3mph, it will take you almost 2 hours. I walk at about 4.5mph, but I am quicker than average

There should be icons on here

*blush*

I am just so carp at math lol. Mind you, if there are alley ways and short cuts it could only take 40 mins :P

It is 3 miles from the village where I live to the nearest A road. Occasionally I have walked (when the next bus isn't for ages) and it takes me one hour.
