this is prob in the wrong section but advice would be helpful i used the post office check and send service for a renewal passport but the guy working there told me i had to get photos verified so got this done but realised he had given me a blank form back ,the local police station contacted me and said somebody had handed my other form into them with all my details on it the guy from the p o had given my form to another customer how dangerous is this?
go back to the post office and demand to see the manager and ask for an apology.
Yes i could be very dangerous re stolen identity etc. at least the other person had the decency to hand in to the police.
Good grief Fluffyfeet! I would do as Dee has said and ask to speak to the manager and I would even seriously consider contacting the head office and putting a complaint in.
We are constantly told to be careful with our details!! Your lucky the bloke handed it in to the police station.
going to p o today to see wat the guy has to say i"ll have to get the boxing gloves on ha ha lodged a complaint with royal mail by e mail so it will be interesting to see wat they say, actually i,d better go to a different p o today as i still need my passport processed or i"ll never get away on hols. thanks for advice everyone xxxx
