My son has just come back from paris and money (euros) has been taken from his luggage AFTER checking it in .... he had put about 10-15 euros in his luggage for emergencies along with his phone, he had most of the money he had left ,on him , he had been to france for work related job , they didnt take his phone thank god ! please be careful what you put in your luggage.
