Destinaton Choices!

Hi Guys,
Me and a friend are looking to go on a last minute hol in mid-late October, but we can't decide where. We've got it down to 3 possible places - Cyprus, Tenerife or Egypt. I rather like the idea of Egypt but we're on a budget of 200 to 300, can you get good deals to egypt (in a decent hotel) for this kind of money?
Also, can anyone recommend the best places to go in either Cyprus or Tenerife? Sunshine, nice beaches and lots of peace and quiet are what we're after...
Any suggestions would be very appreciated, thanks!

If i had a choice i would go to Cyprus. We stayed in Paralimini which is short walk away from Protaras. Very quiet town with only a few rest/bars, and a lovely white sandy beach. Tenerife is also nice, Los Christianos is very nice but keep away from Los americas.
I'd go for Cyprus - but then I'm biased because I live here! I agree Paralimni would be a good choice, as would ******** Bay. In fact by October most places outside the "hotspots" of Paphos, the Limassol hotel belt and Agia Napa are reasonably quiet. October is a good month to come here - the summer heat is over, the rowds have gone and the sea is still warm.
