I am a female aged over 50! I want to go on holiday on my own without paying a surcharge. I am not looking for a relationship, just a nice relaxing time. I would prefer all inclusive. Any suggestions?

I have been with Saga a few times - to Tenerife, Lanzarote, and mainland Spain - and they really look after you. Look at their website and get an idea of the prices - quite reasonable.

www.justyou.co.uk cater for the single traveller, they have heaps of destinations and everyone on their holiday is also single travellers.

I considered this but they're a bit pricey for me.

I'd try a kind of actuvuty holiday, for example a horse riding holiday. You can go on a mixed group one so you will meet new people. A good company I found that do them in Spain is http://www.equestrian-escapes.com.
