going on hols soon to tennessee.already have a biometric passport but people have told me i need a visa as well : is this correct?? i have no criminal record and will i need any special jabs b4 going??? thx in adv.

you could ring a travel service or the us embassy and find out.

This is the official page from the US Embassy regarding the visa waiver program. As long as you qualify (eg British passport, never been arrested) then you don't need a visa. I wouldn't have thought that you would need any special jabs for Tennessee, I certainly didn't have any before going to Florida.

And even if you have been arrested/convicted you do not (should not) to apply for a visa
