Incontinence in Border Collie
My best friend has a beautiful tricolour border collie, We think she is probably about 11 (we have no idea since she was a rescue dog). Last week (Sat) she was taken to the vets for a check up (all good) and her boosters. Ever since then she has become very incontinent. Is this normal and related to the booster and will wear off or is it indicative of another problem? It seems to be hugely coincidental that the problem has only subsisted since Sat.

I think there are a lot more side effects of the annual booster than the vets would tell us about. One of my bitches had a terrible reaction within half an hour of having a booster a few years ago. She had to be rushed back to the vets and never had another one throughout her life.
Although this may be a coincidence, she could have a urinary tract infection and you should take her back to the vet for a check up. It would be useful to take a urine sample with you as it will help with diagnosis. (I know, easier said than done, find an old tray of some description and when she stoops down push it underneath her, you only need a small amount!!).
