I recently saw a plaque at Workington Harbour (Cumbria) commemorating the landing of Mary Queen of Scots in 1568 after her flight from Scotland.

Does anyone know what sort of planes were used in the 16th Century and which company she travelled with. Presume it was some sort of sea-plane????
