I need to get from Salzberg Airport to Kitzbuhel, I have looked at airport transfers and they are coming back at over 250.00, does anyone know of cheaper options as I am only going for 3 days and the transfers are more than the actual flights.

Thanks In Advance

TransferBus will charge you about 70 each way:

By public bus, you can take service 260, from in front of Terminal 1, to Lofer. Then take service 4012 to Kitzbhel. If your German is good enough, there's an online timetable here:

However, if I was doing it, I'd take the number 2 bus to Salzburg rail station. It runs every 10 minutes (or every 20 minutes on Sundays), with a 20 minute journey time. The fare is 1.80. From there, you can get a train, via Schwarzach-St.Veit (or occasionally direct), to Kitzbhel. The journey time is around 2 hours, with a fare of 24.30 each way. The rail timetable is here:

One additional point: Since your trip is only for three days it seems reasonable to assume that you will not be burdened, to speak of, by baggage. You can pretty well walk to anywhere within Kitzbhel, although some of it will be uphill. There is a very good information office right in the centre of town, with generous opening hours - you might consider making it your first stop to get directions, maps, leaflets and advice.
