do a good shop first day and have some left over 4 the odd night out/meal i would say �1500 would be enough

Well obviously some parts of Spain are cheaper than others. For example Ibiza is one of the most expensive, whereas the costas are much cheaper.

I would say 35 euro a day per person if you plan it right, ie supermarket for your drinks and the local market for your fresh food. ( that's all I spend )
