Round trip cruise to New England - October, 2008
We are cruising up the east coast of America in October this year - Ports of call being:-
Port Canaveral
Jacksonville
Charleston
Baltimore
Norfolk Vi
New York
Newport, Rhode Island
Boston
Bar Harbor
Has anyone done any of these ports - and if so can you please tell me is it best to go on a ship excursion or go on your own and get a taxi - If a taxi are their rates reasonable or expensive?
Many thanks

Probably the best website in the world:!
http://boards.cruisecritic.com/
Scroll down to the ports of call section, and then if you register you can access the Roll Call section and chat with fellow travellers and join them for private shore excursions.
You do not say what cruise line you are with but you will find info on this site too. Happy Cruising!
