Flight bookings??

I want to fly from Vietnam to Vienna in Austria and my friend in Austria is paying for the tickets. However, she has said she cant book the flights because they want to see the credit card that she paid with when we depart from Vietnam!!! How can we get round this? If not does anyone know of any cheap airlines that dont ask for credit card details when you go and collect your tickets??

This is a requirement I have noticed is stated when the booking is made, especially online, but I have not once been asked for the credit card or frequent flyer card as ID at check-in, contrary to the statements.
