Premier Travel Inn
14 Answers
Hey people, I had yet another business trip, this time in sunny Sheffield. Stayed in the lovely Premier Inn Barnsley/Sheffield. I was quite impressed, especially as I didn't pay a dime for it.
What do you think of these Travel Lodge type places?

WE used to use travelodge and premier inns a lot until we discovered Innkeepers. They are now springing up all over and are fantastic as they are more individual than travel lodge as they have taken over some hotels. The prices are great too. We have just spent 3 nights for 2 people down near Reading, including continental breakfast for 79.95 !
Some relatives stayed in a nearby B&B and paid 25 pp per night. Only difference cooked brekkie which we dont like anyway.

I have stayed at the Premier Inn, Trentham Gardens,S-O-T and it was very clean the rooms are large, the food good it cost 53 per room and breakfast 7.50 each extra. I would never stay at a Travel Lodge and I can well believe cazz's story of hairs in the bed, yuk!! I often stay at The Holiday Inn chain and Reading-South is excellent. The staff (mostly Polish) are lovely, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the cooked breakfast are really good, you can eat as much as you want or continental if you prefer with masses of fruit, smorgasbord, muffins etc. You can use the Gym and large swimming pool as well. If you stay Thurs, Fri, Sat or Sunday it cost 49 per room and that includes breakfast. If you have children you still only pay the 49 an absolute bargain and it's near Legoland for the kids and shopping at The Oracle for Mum.
