Travel Insurance

Hi
Does anyone know what happens, if your travel insurance company go bust whilst you are on holiday and you need to claim?
Where do I stand? I have had to get my insurance with a company ive never heard of "Getmy.com" due to an existing condition, but with the way the economy is at mo, im now worried what woul dhappen if I was in America, and my existing condition flared up, and then to make it worse my insurance was void, does anyone know?
