we have 3 children and this was our first holiday, it also our sons first birthday while we are there
i know people recommend ticking the no box on the waiver, just wish i had read that a week ago!
but was wondering if anyone could suggest anything that we could do now

There is nothing you can do. His name will be flagged for sure and he won't get in to the USA.

You can try cancelling the holiday; leaving him at home; or seeing if you can change his ticket and take a friend.

Your husband is not going and there is nothing you can do to change that
As Ethel says, the old septic tanks are very clear on the old moral turpitude issue. I suppose you can put this down as an indirect punishment for his crimes.

He may have got away with it before he brought attention to himself but as Ethel says, he'll be logged for sure.
Canada are less strict and you can get into the US very easily from Canada, but if he get's caught his feet won't touch!
Getting into the US from Canada is exactly the same as arriving direct - you apply for a visa waiver. The border posts have exactly the same computers as those at airports. It won't work.
Sorry,Mrs Hill but Mr Hill isn't going to America and that is that. Don't even try-it wil be embarrasing and humiliatiing. What on earth did he do....
