In May, me and my boyfriend booked a holiday for 4 to Spain. Since then we have split up and the holiday is going to have to be cancelled. I understand that the deposits will be lost, but i was wondering what would happen to the rest of the money that was paid in(an extra 750)? As the holiday was booked in my ex's name, would all the money go to him, even though he personally paid only 150 of the amount? Do we have any rights to it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the paperwork is in his name for the holiday then he will get the money back.

But I believe he is morally bound to give you each back what you paid in.

Not sure how you stand LEGALLY (if you cant prove who paid what) and you may have to take him to small claims court if it gets nasty.

Hopefully he will do the decent thing and give each person their share back.
