how much time does it take a person to recover from acute hepatitis b.
1 Answers
On the net its given that the person may take 6 weeks or a bit more to recover from Hepatitis B. But i want to know the approximate days the person needs to be in the hospital and the time he has to spend at his home (bed rest).
Consider the above question for a person who has been infected for the first time and is not diagnosed initially but after the symptoms become more severe the doctor's diagnose it as Hepatitis B and then start the treatment.

Hepatitis B is usually a mild infection (may even be symptomless) in the majority of cases, not requiring hospitalization or bed rest. From what you say, your symptoms have become more severe which rarely occurs in the acute phase. For a further or confirmatory diagnosis of hepatitis B to be made, then further blood tests, liver ultrasound and liver biopsy need to be performed. Sorry I can't answer your question as the medical diagnosis is not clear to me.
