You are posting lots of question about moving to the UK !

Not sure where you got Luton from but my suggestion is DONT live there.

I am not sure how far out you think the Tube goes but Luton is not even IN London. It is North OF London.

I know the airport is called Luton (London) but that is stretching things a bit.

Below is a map of London and the outer areas. The yellow bit in the middle is London AND its outskirts.

Luton is just off the TOP of the map, but the word Luton is not actally on the map.

The word "Airport" at the very top left (above St Albans) is Luton Airport

Thanks, just trying to do as much research as possible and ask questions. Appreciate it! WIll carry on looking...
I used to live in North Hertfordshire, very close to Luton and I can tell you that Luton is rough. Not all of it, but it is definately a place to think twice about visiting, let alone living in.
I think you need some education about London !

London is a HUGE city, there are people who live on the West of it who have probably never been to the East of it (and vice versa).

If you are going to work in London you probably need to live IN London (or spend a fortune in travel costs), so NOT Luton.

This map below shows London in white (What we call Greater London).

Round London is a motorway called the M25, shown on the map in blue.

If you want to WORK in London you probably need to live INSIDE the M25 motorway.

As you can see from the map, Luton is WAY outside the M25 motoway.

Here is a map showing the greater London areas and their names.

Those in the centre, like Westminster and Kensington are VERY expensive.

Ringed round them are cheaper areas that are just outside the centre, and fairly easy to commute from, like Fulham, Lambeth, Camden, Hackney etc. (although they can have very expensive parts).

As you get further out you get to suburbia, like Hillingdon and Epsom, which may be slighter cheaper but are now a long way out.

Getting from the EDGES of London to the CENTRE is fairly easy as all the tube trains gravitate towards the centre.

Getting ACROSS London, so from West to East or from North to South is NOT so easy as you have to go into the centre and come out again.

To be honest you are best finding out where you are going to WORK first and then work back from that to see where you want to LIVE
Aren't Camden and Hackney pretty rough?
Luton used to be lovely but has changed alot in recent years
I lived there from 2000 to 2004 and the best thing about the place was the road out and the casa mia pizza restaurant

Find somewhere else to go if you can
Good luck
if you're interested in London here's some info. I live in St Albans.. closer to London than Luton (and far nicer!) but on the same train line. when I get the train into central London, the car park is 5.80 a day, and the train fare is 24.00.
