Caravan or holiday home to rent please

Hello All

My husband & I would like to spend a few days away between 31.12 & 3.01.09 but are finding it difficult to start out break on New Year's eve. I don't have any holiday so have to work untill around 14.00 that day, also it's proving very expensive. Does anybody out there have a caravan or chalet they would like to rent out for a few days please? Or indeed any suggestions for an inexpensive break.

Whitby Holiday Park is open Christmas and New Year, they have caravans for rent.Sorry I cannot tell you their fees but you could go on line to find out.Have a look under North Yorkshire[Whitby].Hope this is of some help.g.

This might be off help Christine here they did a review on the Whitby park a couple of weeks ago.

You don't mention where in the country you are, which makes it difficult. If you live in Scotland you won't want to be driving down to Cornwall at 2pm on New Years Eve, equally, if you live in Brighton you won't want to be travelling to North Wales!

Why don't you ring the tourist information centre of the area you would like to stay in? They know all the local accommodation and should be able to help you.

Good point Spudqueen, I live in Oxforshire & ideally would like somwhere south, but have always wanted to go to the Lakes. I'm quite open minded within reason! Whitby sounds lovely as I love Heartbeat!
