Oyster Card

This is more of a rant than a question really so I apologise for that. Anyway I topped up my Oyster Card last week and went to scan it at my chosen station to get the money put on it and it didn't do anything except take away the charge of entry into the station! It's never done that before and I am now so annoyed as my oyster card is in now in minus credit yet the amount of money I topped it up with has already come out of my bank account!
I emailed them about it but I am so annoyed and just needed to get it off my chest!
Again I apologise for this not being a question.

I do not think an Oystercard can have a minus credit. if you go in to a 'ticket' shop you can ask them for a print of recent transactions on the card which may assist you. Rather than emailing them best approach is to 'phone the Helpline no.on the reverse of your card.

No I can assure you it's there on my account when I log in online it says -1.40.
lol
There is both a minimum and a maximum time limit between topping up on line and scanning it at the station - you didn't fall foul of this did you?

You probably now have an incomplete journey on your card as well, unfortunately.

I know it's very annoying.
I topped up online on Thursday and said to scan it on Friday which is what I did but it didn't work.
I have emailed them but if I don't hear from them soon I will also call them.
