just watched boozed up brits abroad on bravo and im ashamed to be tarred with the same brush as these muppets.Why do the british act like this when they land on foreign soil????the episode i watched they was abusing anybody and everything in site.

I have seen a few of these and the Brits think they are something special, or think the foreigners are fools, or uneducated, very embarrassing.

Do you remember when you were little, there was always a lad who couldn't play with the other children? he always wanted to come to your house and be really unpleasant, break your toys, chout, be horrible, and then go home.

Well, he's grown up - in the physical sense - got some like-minded friends, and now he plays up in other people;s countries instead.

Add alcohol to fuddle what brain he may still have, and hey presto - Brits abroad!

I am afraid this is not new.

I remember going across to France about 20 years ago by ferry.

As soon as we got on the boat some "brits" starting drinking, and by the time we were half way across the channel they were drunk and very noisy.

I remember saying to my wife then that sometimes I was ashamed to be British.
