When we have a heatwave here it is hot everywhere all the time. Over there the villas and hotels, shops, shopping malls, restaurants and cars all have fantastic air conditioning. This makes such a difference, especially when you can sleep at night! When you get too hot just go inside somewhere to cool down. Even in the theme parks there are misters to help keep you cool, and again all the shops and restaurants are air conditioned, so just pop into one of them to cool off. You do need to drink a lot of water to keep hydrated though. I bought bottled water and kept it in the fridge, taking out a couple each day to put in my rucksack. There are loads of water fountains in the theme parks, so I kept my bottles topped up using them (and thankfully, the water is cold!).
I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time.

I've done June twice and must say that although its 'hot', its a different sort of hot to what we get...doesn't seem so bad (and I don't like it hot!). Agree with SQ about nipping into places with aircon. Another tip..when we've been doing the parks around Orlando it quite often rains about 4pm. The Yanks in the parks (especially Disney) tend to shoot off home, whereas us Brits (being made of sterner stuff) run into the parks where there are hardly any queues for the rides!
In my opinion yes! I have only ever been to Disney in July once and it was terrible. It was unbearably hot, the queues were miles long and it was jam packed with people. For me I couldn't cope with the combination of the heat and crowds.
I have been several other times in May and September and found it much better!
Maybe you could consider the Spring Bank holiday if your concerned? It would be still busy but not as hot.

We went in August of last year and it was awful. Previously, we'd always been at Easter and had loved it (despite sometimes being unbearably hot). I wasn't worried too much about it being hot, I was concerned that it rained more. Having been told it only rained usually for a few minutes, I relaxed. HOWEVER, beware of Hurricanes. Even when they're not directly over Florida, then can affect the weather considerably. We had Fay, Gustav, Hannah and Ike all within that area - one after the other and the weather was cold and raining for days on end. It wasn't warm rain, like they tell you, it was hard, painful, soaking wet rain - just like we get here! For a first timer, I really would suggest April/May if you can.
Hi
We used to go every year in July and it is definitely not unbearable! It is a more moist heat than you get in Europe, the air is always slightly humid.
Everywhere is air conditioned (sometimes to the point of coldness) so if you do get hot, just pop into a shop to cool down!
As the summer is in hurricane season it is more likely to rain during the day, and this lowers the temperature considerably (although it does heat up again quickly afterwards!)
I've only found it unbearably hot one day in all the time I've spent there, and that was when playing crazy golf in disney, on a course where there was absolutely no shade or buildings to nip into, and it was the hottest part of the day with no rain! Other than that I've had much hotter weather in Europe (Greece/Spain) during the summer!
