In transit with Etihad Airways

I am about to book a cheap flight with Etihad Airways and I will have to change aircraft in Abu Dhabi. With a 10 hour wait on the way out and an 8 hour wait on the return, does anybody know if the airline still offers complimentary hotel accommodation to make the wait a little more comfortable?

no idea - why not ask them?

I once got stuck in Kuwait airport overnight. You couldn't even sleep on the seats there (all had individual armrests). I swore never to take another inconvenient flight just because it was cheap.

But Abu Dhabi airport is said to be reasonably good these days.
