Can someone tell me if you can take a carton of ready made formula on as hand luggage? If not what did you do? Also did you take a tin of powered milk or did you buy it abroad?

yes you should be allowed to take carton ready milk, we did and were ok. Also took a tin of powder. If the milk gets confiscated then at least you have the powder.
You can take powdered milk so long as it is in a sealed container, but many airports force you to purchase them from the boots at the airport. Goodluck!

Does anyone know if boots the chemist is before or after the check in at glasgow airport? We normally fly from prestwick and that really only has a couple of pubs and a run way.
After check in - shops are (usually) always after check in

Take cartons in hand luggage and pack tin/s in your hold luggage for ease. However, it is unlikely you will be able to take scissors with you to open the cartons but there should be a pair on board

will need to practise with my teeth to open the cartons lol
