Tango and Dinner

Hi there we are due to fly to Buenos Aires in March and would like to vivs one of the famous tango shows there. could anyone tell us which is the best value show around. We are staying in a very centrally situated hotel (the Grand King as my partner's name is King!) Thanks a lot

I dont know the answer to your question, bu if you go to tripadvisor.com, and look up Buenos ares in their search, you can find all sorts of such info. If exactly what you want to know isnt there, go to th forum section for B.A, and ask this question there. Someone will know!

It'a always better to have a recommendation from someone who's actually been there. Try Cafe Tortoni. It's well known and respectable in the centre of the city. The show is downstairs in the basement and is very good. We had dinner before we went although we did check it out in the afternoon and the food did seem fine. To be fair we didn't have any bad food in Argentina at all. There are some 'atmospheric' tango bars where you get a taxi into the sticks. Your choice.
