has anyone heard of the car hire co - citrox.uk.co they've quoted me for car hire in the usa and i have not heard of this company. would appreciate a recommend.

Being a frequent visitor to the good 'ole USA for busines and pleasure, I wouldn't go with anyone but Dollar now. I've never heard of this mob at all.

never heard of them but they seem to be an agency rather than the actual renters of the cars; they probably just trawl through Hertz, Avis, Alamo, Budget and the rest and quote you the best deal. But if they don't tell you who the car comes from you won't know whether, for instance you can pick it up at an airport terminal or have to go miles away.
