quickest way from basildon - stanstead airport

hi everyone,
i need to travel from basildon to airport fri evening, i just started new job in basidon today so i don't reallt know the area and need to know the best way to airport!! can anyone help??

A13 towards London till you reach the M25 then turn right onto the M25 and go until you reach the M11.
Up the M11 and it is signposted.
Worse time of the week to travel however!

sorry.. i wasn't clear... public transport!!!
easiest way - take bus 100 (every 20mn) to chelmsford, then express bus from there to stansted (x30, I think), every hour.

quickest - by train & tube to bromley-by-bow, then "terravision" bus from there to the airport.

what does x 30 mean??
"X30" is the service number, where X means express, I think. The bus runs direct from Chelmsford without stopping, according to the timetable.

Sorry I don't know the bus stop locations - both services are operated by first essex, so there should be information on their website.
