How long is the journey by air from sri lanka (colombo) to Birmingham England via dubai

Did this about 15 years ago and I seem to remember it took about 11 hrs.

Colombo to Dubai non-stop is 8 hrs; Dubai to Birmingham non-stop is about the same - so the total journey should take about 16 hrs plus stopover time in Dubai. (I found this out by searching on Expedia.)
