There are lots of sites for finding competitive rates for air & hotel combined prices for city breaks
Is there anywhere I can frind the same for going by train to Zurich and staying there, not travelling all over the country.
Any advice would be much appreciated

Haven't looked right through the site, but it's a possibility. If they don't they may know someone who does.
I suspect you'll be better off booking independently though

Try http://www.seat61.com - will give you links to all the international rail ticket bookers.
However, I would use an independent hotel site siuch as http://www.hotelopia.co.uk to find a suitable hotel.

Thank you again for your helpfoul tips. I just want to say, that I tried to put it all together myself but there is such a lot of choice, that I got more and more confused, the Swiss travel service was excellent in quickly quoting for train and hotel combined at a price very similar that I got myself. However, the one we forget nowadays with our computers always at the ready - the local High Streat travel Agent came up trumps with a price about 300 cheaper.
