absolutely right - declare everything about your health, otherwise the insurance company will take any opportunity it can to decline the claim. From experience, my brother in law had a heart attack in the usa - he had high cholesterol and high blood pressure but no heart problems. Fortunately he had declared these - when he make the claim the insurance company went through his declaration with a fine tooth comb, and contacted his GP to make sure there wasn't anything he had not declared. Even if they say it doesn't matter, declare it anyway and keep a copy of what you have declared, let them decide whether it is important to them or not.
