I am younger and go every year staying in private apartments booked through Beninter. They are very basic and cheap so I would struggle to recommend. There is a Hotel right on the beach that we always say we imagine we will be staying in when in our 70s (sorry to put an age on it). It just looks lovely and most evenings you can see people, older than ourselves enjoying some dancing. If you google it I am sure you can make your own decision. In 'real life' it certainly looks very nice and very central but not right next to the noisey night time places (short walk though if you are up for it!).
