turning passenger airbags off in a skoda VRS??????

hi i have a skoda octavia vrs ad need 2 turn the passenger airbags off asap,,i have looked in the glovebox and there is no key etc to turn etc,,,i have also looked in the manual but theres nothuing here either. can anyone help ? many thnks

Why do you need to do this?

I'm sure a local skoda Dealer would advise you how if you mention it to them, costs nothing to ask.

I would imagine lsharp wants to do it to use a rear facing child seat

if the car was specified with the (optional) deactivate switch for the passenger airbag then it is located in the glovebox.

If not then you will need to get it deactivated by a dealer who will charge you (you should also inform your insurance company it has been deactivated)
