IDepends on the age of the children. Very young (under 3) and older (over 14) would probably OK. There is very little to do on The Maldives unless you're into swimming (snorkeling and scuba) and lying on the beach.

It's not the ideal place for families, unless the children are older and can be left to entertain themselves.
