has anyone ever driven around the coast road of italy, starting from venice and driving down the adriatic coast around the foot and up the western coast. ?
if so could you give an idea what to expect and the condition of the coast road?. any info or comments would be appreciated, many thanks.

As elsewhere, these require from the driver a much better level of attention than do dual carriageways, which in turn is why such small roads carry a higher risk of accidents.
