TESCO SIM card work in any O2 mobile ?

Will a TESCO Sim card work in any mobile locked to the O2 network (since TESCO is in partnership with O2 anyway). Reason i was asking is that their calls are a lot cheaper (for me anyway) and i wanted to know before buying the SIM card if it would work. My phone is locked to the O2 network. A friend said their TESCO Sim worked in 2 of their 'locked on o2' phones, just wondered if this was same with every o2 mobile. Cheers.

I don't know the answer to your question, but an easy way for you to find out is to put your friend's tesco sim card in your phone. If it works then that means you can use all tesco sims.

Also its not necessarily a question of ALL O2 phones being locked. It depends entirely on where you buy it from, some retailers sell the phones locked to particular networks, some don't,

It doesn't cost much to unlock a phone these days - the majority of small mobile phone shops will assist you for around �5-10.
