With the cost of meals on flights being so high these days, I've decided not to bother, and was hoping to take my own. I know I can't take drinks through security, but will they allow sandwiches & crisps? I know I'll be able to buy them later, but it would be cheaper to take them from home. The airport website doesn't mention food, only liquids. Can anyone help me?

Thanks - I'm trying that, but it doesn't mention food (so far as I've seen) either. I'll keep searching, Cheers.
I doubt very much that you can even take food through...
which airport/airline is it?
