Luggage Allowance

Does anybody know whether a travel cot and a car seat are in addition to your baggage weight allowance?

If this is for a rental car at the other end, you'd be better booking the car seat with the vehicle. Not sure what to suggest about the travel cot.
I don't know the answer as to whether you can get an extra allowance but I'll be surprised if you can (without paying extra for it).

Call the airline sometimes if you ring and book they will let you but if you just turn up they charge . Mind you I am talkign about a year or so ago
