I think she's had a baby in real life, I can't remember how she disappeared in Corrie, but she hasn't been in it for quite a while.

she supposedly cleared off to the USA when she found out that Tony had killed Liam......didn't she? The last I heard was that when she comes back she pinches Maria's baby...

She knew Tony killed Liam, and was scared he would get her so she took off and sold her half of Underworld, but take it she will be back after her Maternity leave and Tony will get found out. (think thats what happened anyway)
