Went to Florida in December about 20 years ago, It was unusually cold. We only took summer clothes and had to buy warmer stuff while we where there. First night into the holiday we went to the Disney village (think it's called the Market Place now) watched some outside entertainers, people were wrapping their coats around our kids because they were so cold, If I remember rightly there were also a few snow flurries.
Have been to Orlando about 20 times, the last few times it has rained incessantly, still better than being in the UK though!!
Disney is fun, Christmas time lots of things going on, if thats what you fancy go for it and take the weather as it comes.
Hope this helps, ATB, Wendyxx

Florida, like so many other destinations around the world, has the four seasons plus hurricane seasons, tornado seasons and more. December is apparently the second coldest month in Florida (behind January). Back in January, I recall the temperature on several mornings being as low as 4C. That hopefully puts into perspective just how nippy this place can get during the winter months! Temperatures got up to 20C or so during the day. August is the height of the summer and it gets very hot and very humid and rainfall is almost guaranteed on a daily basis along with thunder and lightning, although only in the late afternoon and rarely for more than an hour at a time.
