I can't resist making an additional comment, as Chris sort of prompts me (in the best possible way). A while back I asked a borough of New York city's communications department for directions as to where I should address questions for tourist related information and, separately, a Virginia local tourist site for information on population size. Both questions were sent by e-mail and both are without any reply or acknowledgment to this date
