best you start getting ready for the "Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary" then Zac, plenty of time until that.

Given the passage of a couple of thousand years, surely it would reasonable that an assumption should have turned into a regular done-deal by now. The holiday always occurs that time of year.
I see your point, "the but regular done-deal of the Blessed Virgin Mary" would just make her sound like an overworked prostitute. (and an untruthful one at that!)
So long as you keep off Wednesdays and weekends you'll find it OK. No, school holidays between 3rd September and 24th October.
To answer your original question, we have been in September a number of times and (of all the times we have been) have never queued for more than 30 minutes for any ride, apart from Dumbo - but that is the slowest moving ride ever!. Mind you, we choose not to go during high season and we have so far managed to avoid France holidays.
It is busier at w/ends, obviously and at around 4 pm it will start to get noticabley (sp) busier because of the warmer weather in Sept and may French have annual passes so go after school etc
