With all the news reports and paper articles about Swine Flu im really reconsidering cancelling my family holiday to Disneyland Paris. Wouldnt it be very high risk over there? Especially it being so busy and crowded. I really dont know what to do for the best. We're due to travel in September. Not even sure if we get our money back if we did cancel! Its stressing me out even thinking about it! :-(
what are your views on travelling over the coming weeks/months with young kids?

Look ...
This year it's Swine Flu
Before that it was Bird Flu
Before that it was Asian Flu
Before that it was Flu
Before that it was mutated Flu strain x
Before that it was mutated Flu strain y
Before that it was mutated Flu strain z
Etc
Etc
Etc
Every year, a strain of flu comes round.
Every year, the whole planet gets it.
Every year, the virus proves sadly fatal to some people.
In Africa, a common cold could wipe out a whole village!
But if a healthy child catches Swine Flu, the current evidence is that he/she will be unharmed ...
... and his/her body will develop an immunity, to protect them next year, when the virus comes back bigger and stronger.
The people who are at real risk are the ones who do not get the virus early, and start to build up an immunity.
The annual flu episemic is something we have to live with.

It is being blown out of proportion really, I am flying to Malta in 2 weeks time with 2 kids too so am also a bit worried !! My daughters school has had cases of swine flu and stayed open, my work colleague had it 2 weeks ago and a friend had it 3 weeks ago (all confirmed cases - Tamiflu taken). All have said it is really quite mild, they have had worse colds and flu. The government has said it is one of the mildest epedemics on record. People are panicking really I think.
