New York at Chrismas

Are there any things to see in particular that you should visit at christmas? other than the usual famous sights?
Also my friend hired a limo for an hour and said it was fairly reasonable prices, has anyone else done this?
What are you suggestions of things to do?

I went to NY early Dec a couple of years ago, it's amazing, like a fairy land with all the lights twinkling away The Rockerfella Centre has a great ice rink with a huge Xmas tree, you should see that. Wrap up extra warm, it's freezing.

Didn't hire a limo or any kind of transport, we walked everywhere to work up an appetite for the food and drink.

Agree as above wouldn't bother with the limo you can walk quicker than the traffic in Manhatten
