Anyone with preexcisting medical conditions, which are difficult to get insurance for, should go to MIA Travel Insurance, good company, helpful staff and amazing prices. Backed by FSA
For the over fifties, who seem to have the larger majority of pre-existing, i found SAGA to be the most competetive. Very helpful and precise as to what cover was needed, and what was not. As per the previous answer, i have no allegiance to any company, but just joe public looking for a deal.
If you are suggesting I am advertising you are way off the mark, OK 'regulated' by FSA. They have listed very precisely what is covered, what excesses etc. If you travelled as much as I do you would know when to smell a rat. Sorry buildersmate I presume you are a cynical man!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for note from markieboy I did try saga as well as many other companies, maybe next time you could try MIA. I have no allegiance to anyone I read a letter in the Yours mag from a cancer sufferer who had insured with them. As a result I did a lot of research into them.
try MIA online travel insurance. I have just got it up on that site. Contact me again if you dont get them and I will get out my policy and phone number/
We are going to USA and for the two of us one with past Heart attack cost is 15 less than what medici want for one of us. However it sounds a very competitive insurance. A lot depends on age, medical history and of course if it is to USA. Thanks for your interest.
