Hi Guy\'s, We are a young couple in our mid 50\'s, and i want to start planning a holiday in August 2010 for a big anniversary coming up. I was thinking about a Greek island or Cyprus because i love their hospitality but not Rhodes or east Cyprus as we have been there. I dont want to be by the nightclubs for obvious reasons but close enough to walk to the beach and local tavernas /shops in the evening. For Cyprus i am thinking Paphos, but not sure about any resorts on the islands. Can anyone recomend a good 4* hotel in a nice resort all inclusive or half board? I would also consider Majorca or Minorca with the same criteria as long as it is something a bit special. I will welcome any input you may be able to share with me. Many thanks Moonraker.

Hi, if you want to know about certain areas I would go to TripAdvisor as they get a lot more questions on there about travel. You can get information on all the places you are looking at from people who have been to them or even live there. Good luck.

Many thanks for the info i will look it up as you sugested cheers. Moonraker.
have you looked at riu.com - Ive stayed at one of their hotels in Tunisia and it was lovely, couldnt fault it at all. We booked through thomas cook, their website also worth a look. Agree with the comments re trip advisor - I never book a holiday without looking on there now!
