do trains go direct from Paris to Limoges and, if so, how frequently, from which Paris station, how long is the journey, and how much does it cost return?

trains leave Paris Austerlitz for Limoges Benedictins at 06h38, 07h54, 09h09, 10h20, 12h54, 14h03, 16h10, 17h02, 17h32 and 18h32, journey time about 3 hours.
Fares, like here, vary between peak and off peak and how far ahead you book.

For example I found a £16.50 single fare in November going up to £49.50 which seems to be the walkon price
If you're travelling to Paris by Eurostar, and then on to Limoges, you can almost certainly save money by purchasing a through ticket on the Eurostar website. (Adding on travel to any destination in France usually only adds a tenner onto the fare. Similarly, it usually only costs an extra tenner or so to travel from most UK stations if you book a through ticket directly with Eurostar).

if you are travelling from London you can do the journey with 1 change at Lille Europe, dep St Pancras 14h34 and arrive Limoges Benedictins at 23h09.
