Getting sucked out of a plane

I propose that the idea that shooting a hole in a plane would not result in the old wives tale that "everybody would be sucked out". Surely this is a nonsense?

It would depend on the size of the hole. Any fracture of the outer skin rresults in depressurisiation, but the pilot would dive to lower altitude anyway. If a window, or a door was to blow out, then the possibility of being sucked out is very real, at least for a short time.
If the bullet was strong enough to make a hole, then the explosive decompression of the inside could make the hole big enough for one person to be sucked out (but not necessarily everybody).  Of course, a pedantic fizzy-cyst would say that there is no such thing as "suck", but that people would be pushed out by the pressure of air trying to escape.
