I've not even thought about holidays yet, having started a new job 1st october I've been focused on that, actually I should start making plans. Do you wan to travel abroard Bednobs? I'm half inclined to try the UK now with all the problems going on.

Italy. To be more specific Cattolica which is near Rimini on the Adriatic Coast. We went last year with Thomas Cooks but seeing as they've cancelled the flight for next year we've booked ourselves with Ryan Air (not ideal I know, but it will get us there) and booked the hotel we stayed in last year. It's a lovely resort, family orientated with all ages from 6 weeks old to great grannys, and no British yobs.

We have been going to the same place for the last 6 years, Kusadasi in Turkey, a really beautiful resort. You can book a flight to Izmir and take a bus or taxi into the resort, about an hour from the airport. You could book a complete package or just flight and book your own hotel on the internet or if you are interested I can recommend a few apartments to rent close to everything, so cheap when you get there, still not in EU so it is a shoppers paradise!! I must admit it took me years to get my other half to go to Turkey but now I can't keep him away from it, he just loves it.He had this crazy notion that it was third world and dirty but it is certainly anything but!!!

Weekend in France (OK that is booze cruise), weekend in Italy, 2 nights in hotel followed by cruise from Dubai, weekend in Chicago, and finally 14n cruise from Southampton.
