maybe their wonderful football team had something to do with the lower placing
mightywba.....but the UK as a whole is filthy.

Rather, it is not Wolverhampton or the UK that is filthy, it is the people who live in them.

Good point Beejay...They do lower the tone a tad....Not that I'm biased or anything :-)
I live 6 miles from Wolverhampton, seems to be commonplace on the AB. My pub is a Wolves pub for sure.

or 3 hours by car :-S
lol did you get caught in the xmas rush WBA ? :)

I chose the bullring and went on that blooming ferris wheel :S
Cazzz - is the Karen Millen shop still open in the bullring? I know they have a concession in HOF, but I loved the shop in the bullring.
_NoK_

Look at it this way, depending upon postal code, you may have your bins emptied once a week or once a fortnight and over Xmas some bins in some postal codes will not be emptied for one month.
That surely is filth in any language.
I accept this I live on an Island and it is easier to organize, but our bins are emptied every day.

I cannot speak for bin emptying on Mainland Spain, perhaps NoMercy might help.

Clearly I am not referring to ALL people in the UK......but it has it's fair share.

Usually avoid shopping there this time of year!...I went to the German market in Brum for a big sausage and some gluhwein though ..
I told the nipper there was a big whale in Brum...She thought it was in the sea life centre!
(local accent based joke) :-)
oh and shopping at the club shop at West Brom...discounts available for Villa fans! ;-)
I have no idea nomercy, shopping with hyperactive 13 year olds didnt leave me a lot of browsing time :o

they have a website though it might be on there if not they are probably at the mailbox
we went to the german market as well, you know they have a villa shop on new street ;)

and a Blues one down Rotten row....Boom boom!
Sqad... we take everything to the green wheelie bins, or the recycling banks. The green wheelies are emptied every day, and the wagon goes down our road about 1:30am.
NoMercy...yes, ours is the same.....so why the problem in the UK?

Unacceptable state of cleanliness in UK in my opinion.
Cazzz - I haven't been to the German market for a couple of years, but did love to walk around there. We used to always go shopping on a Sunday, and then lunch in Bar Epernay in the Mailbox. There were these two old ish gay guys that used to lunch there too, and they'd turn up every Sunday with their Harvey Nichols and Crabtree and Evelyn bags and they got to sit on the top table. When they stopped going, we got the top table :-)
